Zaxby’s, one of KaTom’s valued buyers, recently purchased a few items to help make their restaurant a more health-conscious business. Zaxby’s has been in business since 1990, when childhood friends Zach McLeroy and Tony Townley dreamed the restaurant up on the basketball court. This delicious chicken-based restaurant focuses a great effort on customer satisfaction, which is why the Jefferson City, TN branch recently made two purchases with KaTom that will help improve restaurant sanitation. A clean restaurant equals happy customers, which is exactly what Zaxby’s strives for every day.

Cup and lid dispensing is a major issue in the foodservice business, and Zaxby’s is taking steps to help improve the sanitary conditions surrounding the self-serve cup and lid area. In this effort, a San-Jamar EZ-Fit Lid Dispenser Box System and an EZ-Fit Box System for cups were recently purchased and installed. These dispensing box systems allow customers to get their own cups and lids from a vertical holder.

The cup dispensing systems have EZ-to-change patented gaskets that seal cups to help avoid contamination. A quick release collar offers EZ cup counting and counter cleaning. The lid dispensing box creates a neat and orderly appearance for your lid section. These dispensers eliminate messy stacks of lids and reduces the risk of food borne illnesses. Lid waste is reduced as well, which saves money for your business in the end.
