What Ruins Your Dining Experience?

When dining out, one typically expects to have a fairly pleasant experience. However, every once in a while, the dining adventure ends up in a slightly more negative manner. My personal pet peeve when I’m dining out is running out of beverage before I am finished with my meal and having a waiter / waitress that just seems to simply ignore me, even when I am ready to leave and am just waiting on the check. My co-workers have a few different issues that really bother them at a restaurant, such as a rude or obnoxious wait staff, foods that are not prepared up to expectation, and messing up an order.
