NAFEM Introduces TCO Calculator!

NAFEM

Large purchases, such as restaurant equipment, are often made based solely on a price point, which isn’t necessarily the best decision. When making an important and costly purchasing decision such as this, one should consider all the others costs associated with the piece instead of just the initial investment. NAFEM, the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers, has tackled the difficult challenge of trying to make this process an easier one by introducing the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) calculator.

The TCO calculator takes both direct and indirect costs of purchasing and operation into consideration. The thoroughness of this calculator provides the user with a much clearer picture of the importance of the initial price of the unit when other factors are involved. The TCO calculator allows the customer to make the best, most informed decision possible.
