American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Savings for Public Schools

What Does the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Mean for Public Schools Participating in the National School Lunch Program?

The ARRA was signed into law on February 17th, 2009 by President Barack Obama. Included in the ARRA is a measure that provides a one time appropriation of $100,000,000 to school food authorities who participate in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), to be spent on school foodservice equipment. Due to the nature of this extraordinary Act, KaTom has partnered with several of our top vendors to provide even lower special pricing on the quality equipment you need to keep your school cafeterias running as smoothly, efficiently and sanitary as possible.
