The Wusthof 3059730101 (formerly Wusthof 2922-7) handheld knife sharpener operates manually without electricity. Its two-stage sharpening system includes a set of coarse sharpening carbide blades that grind away irregularities and a set of fine ceramic blades that hone the knife to a razor-sharp edge. This sharpener is compatible with all standard knives and shouldn't be used with Asian-style blades. The curved handle lends a secure grip and a raised edge protects the user from accidental injury while sharpening tools.
