Hobart LXEC-3 Description
The Hobart LXEC-3 undercounter dishwasher uses chemical sanitization to wash 34 racks of dishes per hour, taking 105 seconds for each wash cycle. While the warewasher uses 0.74 gallons for each dish rack, the deep-drawn, seamless tank can hold 2.9 gallons of water. To properly clean dishes, the incoming water must be at least 120 degrees.
This Hobart LXEC-3 dishwasher includes chemical pumps for the detergent, rinse aid, and sanitizer, while indicator lights let users know when any of these chemicals are running low and when a deliming cycle is needed. This model features diagnostics that help service technicians quickly determine problems. While the tank and exterior are made of durable stainless steel, the pump is corrosion resistant. Also made of stainless steel, the scrap screen is removable to ease emptying and cleaning. Helping prevent standing water, the drain is pumped automatically and can move as many as 4 gallons of water per minute.

Unreliable machine
Machine works well, when it works. Maybe we just got a lemon, but this dw has never worked for more than 3 weeks without a maintenance problem. Loose fittings, pumps failing, chemical leaks rotting out wiring, pumps, etc. This is our 3rd season using this machine, and every off season it has been in the shop for major repairs. Now it quit again. We have run Hobart machines for 25 years and never had this kind of problem. Very disappointing.
