Its capillary tube system uses R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant—a more eco-friendly alternative to other options. The epoxy-coated, electronically commutated evaporator and rear-access condenser fan motors operate at high-peak efficiencies, providing a consistent volume of airflow.

When the compressor cycles on, its fan motor directs air in reverse for a 20-second period. This blows away any buildup, dust, or dirt that’s collected on the coil. Though not a substitute for regular preventive maintenance, this feature helps reduce energy consumption and lengthen the unit’s lifespan.
