Ideal for front-of-house cooking and catering operations, the Equipex PANINI VC commercial panini press has cooking plates that are made of vitroceramic—a material that is nonporous, efficient to clean, and prevents carbon from building up. The top plate has a grooved design that leaves grill marks on food, while the smooth bottom simplifies the cleaning process. Using a combination of radiant and contact heat, the unit heats up quickly and efficiently warms food. It is thermostatically controlled, with a maximum temperature of 570 degrees Fahrenheit. Because the housing is made of stainless steel, it resists scratching, denting, and rusting.
