Wells SS-8D Description
This top-mount Wells SS-8D circular food warmer can be dropped in a 9-inch-diameter cutout for sleek, cohesive presentation on front- and back-of-house countertops, while Wellslok tabs are included to ease installation. For heavy-duty use, its top flange and deep-drawn well are made of durable, rust- and corrosion-resistant stainless steel that can be wiped clean between uses. This 10 1⁄16-inch-diameter by 8 3⁄4-inch-high unit accommodates a 7-quart inset—great for prepared soups, sauces, toppings, or gravies. For versatile warming, it's compatible with wet and dry operation featuring a 1⁄2-inch NPT drain to simplify cleanup.
Powerful tubular heating elements located beneath the Wells SS-8D heavy-duty food warmer's warming pan generate enough heat to hold food at safe serving temperatures for hours. To prevent overheating, this unit features a high-limit temperature setting. Users can adjust the infinite control as holding requirements change, and a guard ring protects the panel from inadvertent adjustments. This 4 7⁄16-inch-high panel can be installed into a 1 7⁄8-inch-wide by 3 7⁄16-inch-tall cutout and should be installed away from high-temperature areas.
