Wells G-246 Description
With the ability to be built into a metal countertop, the Wells G-246 G-Series electric built-in griddle sports a 46 9⁄10-inch-wide by 24 3⁄10-inch-deep cooking surface with four separate cook zones for high production. Designed to cook as many as 1,450 hamburgers per hour, the unit uses enclosed heating elements located on the underside of the griddle for even heat distribution. The 1⁄2-inch-thick griddle plate pre-heats and reheats quickly—a great choice for sporadic use. Thermostats, shielded with protective guard rings, control the burners within a temperature range between 200 and 450 degrees Fahrenheit. A positive-off feature accompanies each thermostat to alert the operator when the thermostat is not in use.
The Wells G-246 commercial electric griddle resists dents and scratches as its top, control panel, and splash guards are constructed of stainless steel. The splash guards, which can be removed, help reduce spills on nearby surfaces and contain oil and leftover particles on the cooking surface. For removal and emptying, the 4-quart-capacity grease drawer collects the runoff.
