The Manitowoc IY-1804A Indigo Series cube ice machine head runs diagnostics every 24 hours to help with preventive maintenance so you can save money and keep your machine running properly. The EasyRead blue-illuminated display reminds you when to clean the machine and keeps up with the operating status. Interior components are made with AlphaSan® antimicrobial agent that protects these items from bacteria between cleanings. To make accessing the food zone easy for cleaning, the front door is hinged and easily swings out.

You can decide when and how ice is produced based on the time of the day or volume of ice. Ice will not drop until the acoustical ice sensing probe checks the ice to ensure it is the ideal thickness. The Manitowoc IY-1804A Indigo Series cube ice machine head produces half-cube ice that measures 3⁄8 of an inch by 1 1⁄8 inches by 7⁄8 of an inch. Up to 1,860 pounds of ice is produced within the 24-hour production period.
