The Norlake KODF7766-C Kold Locker™ outdoor walk-in freezer measures 6 feet wide by 6 feet deep by 7 feet 7 inches tall and includes a smooth aluminum floor that accommodates a uniformly distributed load of 800 pounds per square foot—great for regular foot traffic and heavy shelving. Designed for outdoor placement, it should be stored in areas no warmer than 90 degrees Fahrenheit. To achieve and maintain an interior temperature of -10 degrees Fahrenheit, it comes with a top-mount Capsule Pak™ unit. An included weather protection kit comes with a one-piece, 35-millimeter white membrane roof material that doesn't have to be seamed or glued to the ceiling panels. The included metal trim for the roof's flashing can be secured to the wall panels with self-drilling and self-tapping TEK screws.

For simple installation, its wall, floor, and ceiling panels are modular and feature cam locking fasteners that create airtight seals and male and female mating rails that provide proper alignment during setup. Each panel is insulated with 4-inch-thick polyurethane. This type of insulation provides an R-32 thermal resistance value for the walls, ceiling, and door and an R-28 value for the floor. To withstand long-term use, its interior and exterior panels are finished with stucco-embossed, corrosion-resistant, 26-gauge coated steel.

The Norlake KODF7766-C walk-in freezer's 26-inch-wide by 78-inch-tall door opens smoothly due to its cam-lift hinges, which can be adjusted in the field as needed. To minimize the chance of pests entering the unit or temperatures fluctuating, the door self-closes. After business hours, users can lock the deadlock handle, and staff can exit with the interior safety release mechanism if they become locked inside. Inside the unit, an LED light brightens the room. Staff can quickly determine if the light has been left on with the exterior pilot light indicator. To ensure products are stored at safe temperatures, a digital thermometer provides an accurate interior temperature readout.
