The Southbend EZ18-5 2081 countertop steamer has one compartment with a five 12-inch by 20-inch pan capacity to keep multiple items steaming at a time. This model is made from 304 satin-finished stainless steel with a one piece 316 stainless steel cooking chamber. It has a 60-minute electric timer and an alarm that goes off to indicate the end of the steaming cycle. Its controls include a time cooking/off/constant steam switch that lights up, ready indicator light, and a cooking indicator light. When the door is opened during the cooking process, the door interlock switch stops the generation of steam and resumes generating the steam when the door is shut.
