Southbend 4364D Description
Part of the Ultimate series, the Southbend 4364D restaurant range's 36-inch-wide by 37-inch-high cooking top features six burners with a 27-inch-deep cooking surface. The three front burners sport a star design with a port arrangement that evenly distributes the flame, while the three back burners are non-clogging to maximize output so the burners can reach high temperatures over a short period of time. Each burner includes removable cast iron grate tops, and the rear burners are sized to accommodate 14-inch-diameter stock pots. To ease startup, it comes with a standing pilot, and a removable drip tray beneath the burners that catches grease drippings and other debris.
The oven base measures 26 inches wide by 26 1⁄2 inches deep by 14 inches high and includes one oven rack with two-position side rails that can accommodate full-size food pans. Its double-sided, full-porcelain enamel oven cavity resists corrosion, while its coved corners simplify cleaning and enhance airflow, eliminating extreme temperature spots. To ease loading and retrieval, it's equipped with a spring-assisted, counterweight door. This natural-gas-powered oven outputs 45,000 BTU and can be turned on with the battery-spark ignition system. As menus change, operators can adjust the thermostat from 175 to 550 degrees Fahrenheit.
The Southbend 4364D restaurant range measures 36 1⁄2 inches wide by 34 inches deep by 59 1⁄2 inches high overall. For lasting durability in fast-paced kitchens, its exterior is stainless steel—a rust-, corrosion-, and wear-resistant metal that can simply be wiped clean between uses. Its 4-inch-deep front rail creates distance between the user and the burners to enhance safety and provide a convenient plating area, while the heavy-duty shelf provides accessible storage space for utensils and supplies. Its 6-inch stainless steel legs can be raised or lowered to stabilize the unit on irregular flooring, reducing the risk of wobbling and rocking during operation. Operators can gauge incoming pressure with the factory-installed regulator, and to turn the unit off, it features a front-mounted manual gas shutoff.
