Epicurean 407-241401 Description
Chefs can assemble, slice, and insert pizzas into the oven with the Epicurean 407-241401 pizza peel. Made of strong paper composite, it's 1⁄4 an inch thick and has beveled edges that can slide beneath crusts, simplifying insertion into and removal from an oven. Its 9-inch handle can be used with deep ovens, protecting users from accidental burns. Despite its resistance to temperatures as high as 350 degrees Fahrenheit, it's not safe for use in a microwave or oven. Its stain-resistant, nonporous surface resists harboring bacteria and doesn't dull knives, and it can be washed in a dishmachine to streamline cleaning. After use, it can be hung on a hook with its built-in handle hole.
