Made of a break-resistant melamine, the GET ML-241-W Siciliano™ serving bowl has a 24-inch diameter and a 6-inch height. Its 26 3⁄5-quart capacity (and 27-quart rim-full capacity) is best employed when serving large quantities of food. For an elegant look that reduces damage like chips and breaks or blemishes, this bowl is black. It is not recommended for microwave use.

Handy bowl for a multitude of uses.
Originally bought for having a big bowl for popcorn balls, etc., for the holidays, replacing one that got broken. Also useful for soaking greens, veggies and other stuff prior to freezing, canning, etc. Everybody needs a big bowl for something (we're Southerners)!
