Model E6D - Lodge Color Enamel on Cast Iron with Stainless Steel Handle: 6 Quart Dutch Oven 10-3/4" diameter x 4-3/4" depth. Available in Liberty Blue, Patriot Red and Apple Green.
Lodge Enamel brings together the Lodge 108 year history of making cast iron cookware with the fine art of enameling. The vivid colors of patriot red, liberty blue, and apple green call attention to the stainless steel handles and accents. The subtle "L" shaped lid handle with its graceful presentation provides for generous finger room, ensuring perfect balance when handling the lid. Not only does the outstanding design allow the vessel to be taken from the stove or oven directly to the table, but it will likely become a permanent show-piece in the kitchen and dining room.
Each Lodge Enamel piece is individually hand crafted and coated with several layers of strong, chip-resistant, enamel, imported from France. The enamel coating eliminates the need to "season" the cast iron, and creates a non-reactive surface that can be used for all types of cooking, as well as marinating, refrigerating, or freezing. Lodge Enamel can be used on electric, gas, ceramic hobs, and induction cook tops on low to medium temperatures, as well as in gas, electric, or convection ovens below 500 degrees Fahrenheit.
