The American Panel AP5BCF45-2-P HURRiCHiLL™ blast chiller and shock freezer is a compact floor model designed to quickly reduce food temperatures while maintaining product quality and safety. Its solid-state electronic control panel with VFD display offers intuitive operation, with multiple cycle options including soft chill, hard chill, and freeze modes. This unit can chill up to 50 pounds of food from 160 degrees Fahrenheit to 38 degrees Fahrenheit in 105 minutes and freeze 30 pounds to 0 degrees Fahrenheit within 240 minutes. A heated core probe monitors internal product temperature, while high-velocity, indirect airflow ensures consistent cooling across all pan levels.
Built for durability in demanding kitchen environments, the American Panel AP5BCF45-2-P blast chiller features a polished stainless steel interior and exterior for long-lasting performance. The cabinet is mounted on casters for mobility and includes high-density insulation to help maintain stable internal conditions. Inside, five pan slides accommodate standard pans, and the rounded interior corners simplify cleaning. The removable magnetic door gasket enhances sanitation, while the self-contained refrigeration system uses R290 refrigerant and is engineered for efficient heat removal and dependable operation.
