Its 1 1⁄4-inch-thick high-density particle board core is covered in a high-pressure laminate surface that resists scratches, paint, markers, crayons, and even food or juice stains. To help prevent warping over time, the underside is finished with a protective backer sheet that strengthens the top for long-term use.

Engineered for durability and ease of setup, the Correll A48-OCT-01-09-09 activity table includes heavy-duty leg mounting brackets already secured with seven screws, plus three additional screws in each leg plate for reinforcement. Stability is improved with oversize hairpin braces and a shoulder on each leg set screw. A free speed wrench is provided to simplify adjustments, while the legs extend from 19 to 29 inches high in 1-inch increments to fit various seating arrangements. The walnut surface, accented with a black T-mold edge and paired with black and chrome legs, creates a sturdy and professional look suitable for educational and multipurpose spaces.
