Magikitch'n MKG-36-ST Description
Adjustable from 200 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, the Magikitch'n MKG-36-ST commercial griddle uses LP gas and independent, venturi-style burners to heat its 47 3⁄4-inch-wide by 24-inch-deep cooking area. It uses an easy-push ignition button to light the pilot. If the pilot flame goes out, a safety shut-off system kicks on. Temperature is set with the three snap-action thermostats—one for every 12-inch-wide griddle section. The 1-inch-thick polished griddle plate is less likely to warp over time for back-to-back reheating and sporadic use.
This Magikitch'n MKG-36-ST gas griddle is made of double-walled, reinforced stainless steel sides, fully welded side skirting, and 11-gauge skirt finish to improve durability and simplify cleaning. To keep food contained during cooking, a tapered backsplash lines the perimeter of the griddle. For quick grease cleanup, a 3 1⁄2-inch-wide front grease trough collects leftover fat and oil, draining it into the grease chute, which is welded to prevent leakage. From there, it's stored in a 3 3⁄4-gallon grease box with a quick-lift handle. Though it's designed with 4-inch-tall legs, they can be removed for flush mounting.
