The Vulcan C24EO3 convection steamer holds three 12-inch by 20-inch by 2 1⁄2-inch-deep pans, though it can also hold 1-inch-deep and 4-inch-deep pans. If shallower pans are placed in the compartment, the unit accommodates more, while deeper pans reduce the capacity. Both the interior and exterior are made of stainless steel—a material that resists corrosion and increases durability. Because the door is heavy duty, it withstands heavy use, and its latch mechanism seals the unit closed to prevent accidental opening.
The steam generating system in this Vulcan C24EO3 countertop steamer does not need to be hooked up to water or a drain, and the stainless steel generator pan in this unit has a stamped water line so users know how much to fill it. Heating elements are embedded to the bottom of the pan, providing even heat to the surface, while the steamer operates with a three-position switch that has options for off, timed steaming, and constant steaming.
