Vulcan 948RX-30 Description
The Vulcan 948RX-30 48-inch gas griddle is a heavy-duty countertop model for demanding kitchen environments. This griddle features four U-shaped burners that provide multiple cook zones across its cooking surface, and these burners are capable of being ignited by electric spark or manually. In the event of the pilot being extinguished a safety valve disables gas flow, and for further safety, the gas inlet can be manually shut off.
For precise temperature adjustments, heating of the Vulcan 948RX-30 48-inch gas griddle is thermostatically controlled. The griddle plate is a 1-inch-thick steel plate that facilitates streamlined cleanup and grease removal, while a wraparound splatter guard reduces messes and keeps excess grease safely contained to the cook area. The grease gutter enables quick removal of excess grease and accommodates spatulas. Waste grease is moved through the gutter down a welded chute for storage in the grease drawer, streamlining storage and cleanup.
