Vollrath 40840 Description
The Vollrath 40840 Cayenne® commercial gas griddle has a 60-inch grilling surface—perfect for eateries with many grilled foods, such as burgers, steaks, or breakfast omelets. Its five burners each output 28,000 BTU and have 12-inch heating zones. This griddle plate is 3⁄4-inch-thick steel, managing to balance both heat retention and recovery. Splash guards encircle food matter to keep it from spilling around the griddle.
With its stainless aluminized steel construction, the Vollrath 40840 restaurant griddle is built to last against spatula dings, knife scrapes, and various other types of punishment in bustling commercial kitchens. Its gas valves are protected from cracking and breakage by metal knob guards and knobs, ensuring a long life before replacement. Adjustable legs raise the griddle from four to 5 1⁄2 inches off the counter.
