Vollrath 36490R Description
The Vollrath 36490R drop-in refrigerator is ideal for small-volume kitchens wanting to keep cold product near workstations to reduce prep time. Designed to fit one pan and the ice required to keep it chilled, it has an 8-inch-deep well and can slot into a countertop cutout measuring 14 1⁄2 inches by 25 1⁄4 inches. Its body of galvanized steel and 18/8 stainless steel that is resistant to scratching and temperature damage due to its chromium and nickel construction. To reduce kitchen messes, its framed with a drip-resistant rim.
Insulated with polyurethane foam and equipped with copper tubing, the Vollrath 36490R drop-in cold food well can be connected to an external thermostat control unit (not included) to maintain an ideal temperature and reduce losses due to spoiling. The unit is designed to be paired with a customer-provided remote compressor that regulates the well's internal temperature.
