Vollrath 36442R Description
Meant to be paired with an external remote compressor (sold separately), the Vollrath 36442R cold pan drop-in refrigerator uses a series of internal copper tubes attached to an operator-supplied thermostat to hold foods at their ideal temperatures, maintaining product quality. To retain chill and preserve energy, it is insulated with polyurethane foam. Its well is made of 18/8 stainless steel while its exterior housing is made of 18-gauge galvanized steel to resist scratching and prevent damage to its mechanical components.
The Vollrath 36442R cold well refrigerator is meant to slot into a countertop hole measuring 40 3⁄4 inches by 25 1⁄4 inches, and it's rimmed with a spill-resistant flange to reduce workplace messes. The unit has a depth of 8 inches, accommodating three full-size pans of food and the ice needed to hold it at the preferred temperature.
