The Groen (2)SSB-5GF SmartSteam100™ double-stacked steamer has two compartments, each holding five 12-inch by 20-inch by 2 1⁄2-inch food pans, and to simplify cleaning, the interior and exterior are constructed of durable stainless steel. Its doors can be reversed to open from the left or the right, and hands-free latches keep the doors sealed when pushed shut. Removable to facilitate cleaning, stainless steel racks hold product.

The Groen (2)SSB-5GF gas steamer has a self-contained, steam generating reservoir in each compartment, producing steam with a temperature of 212 degrees Fahrenheit. Steam lids over the reservoirs assist with cleaning by catching debris, and side-mounted blowers disperse steam throughout. Because it has an automatic drain-and-fill feature, the unit does not require manual refilling.
