The Groen (2)SSB-3GF SmartSteam100™ gas steamer comes with two compartments that together can accommodate six 12-inch by 20-inch by 2 1⁄2-inch pans. It has a boilerless design, which auto-fills and auto-drains to simplify operation. An atmospheric steam generating reservoir in each compartment produces steam, while side-mounted convection fans evenly distribute steam throughout the compartments.

The Groen (2)SSB-3GF floor model steamer's compartments are equipped with separate controls for operation, including electronic timers for accurate cooking times. Ready lights indicate the unit is prepared to cook, while hidden magnetic switches cut power to the fans and steam reservoirs when the doors are opened. To retain heat, the two doors are fully insulated, and the interior and exterior are made of durable stainless steel.
