American Metalcraft CAR18HC Description
The American Metalcraft CAR18HC pizza pan is made of 14-gauge aluminum that has undergone an electro-chemical process to turn its exterior into a dark aluminum oxide that needs to be seasoned before use and cannot be washed in a dishmachine. Hardcoat aluminum is an efficient heat conductor, evenly transmitting warmth and providing a uniform bake that can be served directly to the table due to its solid bottom. The tapered edges on this pan enable stacking with similar pans, and because the edge isn't rolled, it can be used to cut dough to size.
