The Ice-O-Matic ICE1406FA ice machine head is an air-cooled model, requiring 6 inches of clearance on either side to allow for air intake and discharge. The unit can produce as much as 1,469 pounds of ice when the ambient temperature is 70 degrees Fahrenheit or less and the incoming water is at 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Harvest Assist helps the ice maker keep up with this production rate consistently by ensuring a fast harvest cycle. The ice machine boasts ENERGY STAR certification and helps conserve water by only requiring 19.9 gallons of water to make a hundred pounds of ice.

This ice maker features an antimicrobial compound on internal components to help slow the growth of fungus and bacteria. The unit is also compatible with the IFQ2 ice filter assembly (sold separately) to help you serve the cleanest ice possible. The evaporator is nickel-plated to help prevent corrosion and add durability and the exterior of the ice machine is made of durable stainless steel and plastic that resists fingerprints.
