The Ice-O-Matic ICE1006FW ice machine produces half-cube ice, with a maximum production rate of 960 pounds per day. The Harvest Assist feature helps the machine keep up with this production rate by using pins and heat applied to the evaporator plate to harvest ice quickly. The machine's evaporator is nickel-plated to ensure it is corrosion-resistant and durable for a long life.

This ice maker is water-cooled, so it requires extra connections for condenser water. The water used for the ice can be filtered through an IFQ2 water filter assembly (sold separately), which removes sediment from the water and helps prevent scale buildup in the machine. The Ice Pure® antimicrobial compound also contributes to the ice's cleanliness by preventing the growth of fungus and bacteria inside the ice machine.
