The Ice-O-Matic ICE1006FR is a remote-cooled ice machine head that is capable of making up to 982 pounds of ice under the ideal conditions of 70 degrees Fahrenheit air and 50 degrees Fahrenheit incoming water. The ice harvest cycle is assisted by heat and pins, which help harvest ice quickly to reach that high production rate. This model uses 20 gallons of water to make each 100 pounds of ice.

The ICE1006FR ice machine is made to be easy to maintain and keep clean. This model requires no air filter, reducing the amount of maintenance required. Interior parts of the ice machine feature Pure Ice® antimicrobial protection, which prevents the growth of fungus, slime, and bacteria. For additional sanitation, consider adding the IFQ2 water filter manifold (sold separately), which filters out sediment, foul flavors, and odors, and also prevents the buildup of limescale inside the machine.
