The Ice-O-Matic ICE0806HR is an ice machine head that uses a remote condenser. The VRC remote condenser and a pre-charged line set, each of which is sold separately, is required for this unit to operate. The remote condenser is located away from the ice machine, usually on the roof, giving you ice production without the drawback of the heat and noise a condenser puts out. This model can produce up to 913 pounds of half-cube ice each day.

This ice machine head features an exterior made of stainless steel and plastic, both durable and corrosion-resistant for commercial use. The evaporator plates are made of nickel-plated copper, a combination that allows for superior conductivity while strengthening the part to ensure a long life. Harvest Assist heats this evaporator plate and uses pins to harvest ice quickly, which helps keep ice production regular. Use of the IFQ1 water filter (sold separately) can help improve the taste of this ice and prevent scale buildup, and the unit's Pure Ice® antibacterial compound is built into several internal components to help prevent the spread of fungus and bacteria.
