The Ice-O-Matic ICE0806FR ice machine is a remote-cooled ice machine that makes full-cube ice at a rate of as much as 913 pounds per day. The VRC 2061 remote condenser (sold separately) is required for this unit to work, and is usually installed on the roof to keep the noise and heat of the condenser out of the kitchen or serving area. Also sold separately is the IFQ1 water filter assembly, which removes sediment from incoming water and reduces the amount of scale buildup on the inside of the ice machine.

This ice machine's exterior is made of durable stainless steel and plastic, making it resilient enough to withstand commercial use. The evaporator plates are also made to be strong, made out of conductive copper plates plated with corrosive-resistant nickel. The Harvest Assist feature ensures ice is harvested from these plates quickly, ensuring reliable ice production over time.
