The Ice-O-Matic ICE0806FA is an air-cooled ice machine that makes full-cube ice. This machine can produce as much as 897 pounds of ice each day, due in part to the Harvest Assist feature. This feature uses heat and pins to harvest ice quickly, helping keep ice production consistent. The ice maker is very water-efficient, requiring only 19.5 gallons of water for each 100 pounds of ice.

The ICE0806FA ice machine is made to be easy to clean and maintain, and it features a durable stainless steel and plastic exterior to make it able to withstand commercial use. Required maintenance is reduced due to the lack of an air filter, and the copper evaporator plates are nickel-plated to help ensure durability. Ice-O-Matic's Pure Ice® helps prevent the growth of fungus and bacteria on key internal components, and sanitation can be furthered ensured by the IFQ1 water filter, which is sold separately. This filter removes foul tastes, odors, and sediment from the water, and also prevents the buildup of scale inside the ice machine.
