Ice-O-Matic has replaced its ICE Series models with the CIM series, which is designed to be more user friendly, easier to clean, and more efficient. As part of this roll-out, this model has been replaced by the CIM0636FW, which can produce 620 pounds of full-cube ice per day.

The Ice-O-Matic ICE0606FW ice machine is water-cooled, so it requires extra water connections for the condenser but does not need clearance for air discharge. This model can produce as much as 618 pounds of full-cube ice every day under optimal conditions. The Harvest Assist feature helps keep ice production regular by ensuring speedy harvest cycles, using heat and pins to remove completed ice from the evaporator plates. The evaporator plates are nickel-plated to ensure corrosion-resistance for a long part life.

Ice-O-Matic uses Pure Ice® antimicrobial inside the company's ice machines, providing surfaces that inhibit the growth of bacteria, fungus, and slime. This model is compatible with IFQ1, IFI4C, and IFI8C water filters, which remove sediment from incoming water as well as prevent scale buildup in the ice machine. The ice machine's exterior is made of stainless steel and fingerprint-proof plastic, making it suitable for use in commercial settings.
