The storage bin that is included with the ice maker has an amazing 510 lb storage capacity and is an ultra low profile design. The insulated polyethylene ice bin liner features 1.5 - 3 inches of insulation for better ice preservation. The low profile of this ice maker with bin allows for easy access so generally no stepping stool is required and the large door of the bin is ideal for shoveling or scooping ice.
