The unique shape of the Ravenscroft Crystal Amplifier Pinot/Barolo glass is very popular in northern Europe especially northern Italy. The unique bowl is perfectly matched for the classic, lower alcohol, cool climate reds of northern Italy, Burgundy and Northern Rhone. The bowl of the Ravenscroft Crystal Amplifier Pinot/Barolo glass dramatically concentrates fruit driven bouquets. A wide base allows maximum amplification of the fruit driven aromas. The application of this glass to higher alcohol wines from the south or Bordeaux varietals is in appropriate due to their higher alcohol content. Lead-free and a pulled stem, as with all Ravenscroft glasses, these brilliant lead-free crystal glasses are very light delivering a beautiful, unprecedented hand and mouth feel, made in Europe.
