Because it's made of polycarbonate, the cup has the appearance and feel of glass without the high replacement costs. Great tumblers
I use these tumblers everyday. They are attractive, easy to hold, and easy to handwash--you can get your hand inside to wash. I do not have a dishwasher. They wash up great. There are slits on the raised bottom that let the water drain off. Cool design, buy them.
