Waring WSB33X Description
Perfect for quick, light- to medium-duty applications, the Waring WSB33X Quik Stik® immersion blender can be used to whip eggs, purée fruit, and make dressings and sauces. The unit has a 7-inch stainless steel shaft that fits in 3-gallon containers. On the end of the shaft, the stainless steel blade blends ingredients into a consistent mixture, and operators can run the blender at a low or high speed. Since it has a compact, lightweight design and a rubberized grip, the unit is comfortable to maneuver.

Works perfect
Currently use to make milk shakes but can imagine many more uses
Stay away from this one.
With light use, this one lasted less than 2 years. Warranty is only 1 year, so we are back to looking for another one to purchase. It will NOT be this one again.
Great for Home Use
Definitely not fit for 12 qt projects as it takes time to do an 8 qt project let alone to do so without sinking the exhaust ports. Does phenomenal job (unless large chunks of fibrous vegetables are in container) with most standard sauces like red sauce, stocks, hollandaise, bechamel, etc. If you plan to use this as a kitchen tool, then know it will be best at home or to make small "right now" batches at you professional kitchen. GO FOR NEXT SIZE UP.
