Buying again
I've had this model for 4 yrs now. Not sure why these knuckleheads had such a hard time. If you dont seat it correctly you will get a grinder noise. Dont rush. They also probably let it run for an extended period of time. Maybe pulse instead a few times. Anyone who understands electric motors know they will eventually overheat. If you treat it poorly you will get that in return. Just placed my order for another.

Awesome
Do not buy this product
I used this processor last month, not only it doesn't process food very well, but also makes grinding noises. They give you instructions what to do about it when it makes those noises so it's part of their DESIGN! Do NOT buy this product.
I would not buy this product again
This unit is rated at 1HP and is sold as a commercial unit. I was very disappointed in the way it performed. It would run for a couple of minutes then shut down from overheating. The wait time for it to restart was 10 to 15 minutes, totally unacceptable. I purchased a unit from a major retailer for 1/3 the price and it ran as long as I needed it to, never shutting down due to overheating. It was rated less than 1 HP but outperformed the Waring unit in every aspect of the job.
