Good for commercial kitchens that specialize in quesadillas, burritos, or hamburgers, the Electrolux Professional 602116 two-zone sandwich grill doubles the space to churn out more orders. Its four smooth cast iron plates—two top and two bottom—create a flat surface that acts like a griddle for effective grilling. The two top plates are height adjustable, so they can grill many foods. With both top and bottom plates able to grill, cooking time is cut in half, and the risk of burning or undercooking foods is reduced. It can reach a maximum temperature of 572 degrees Fahrenheit and the cast iron's high conductivity minimizes heat loss. Shock-resistant heating elements are mounted in the plates for elongated heating.
Unique features are built into the Electrolux Professional 602116 panini press to ensure safety. The plates are treated with a verified food enamel to maintain a hygienic surface as it resists acids, salts, and oxidization. Its top plate includes a shut-off switch when an emergency shutdown is needed.
