The Dexter S5387PCP 08253 Sani-Safe® cleaver cuts through thick meat and cartilage with ease, making it perfect for processing. A hole in the blade allows the knife to hang from a meat hook or on a butcher's belt. Since the blade is constructed of DEXSTEEL™, its high-carbon construction is stain resistant and durable for commercial use. The edge has been ground and honed for strength and flexibility when cutting. A seal between the blade and the handle reduces the risk of harmful bacteria growth. The Dexter S5387PCP 08253 Sani-Safe cleaver has a white, polypropylene handle that is textured to prevent slipping.

I bought this cleaver to cut chicken leg quarters for my dogs who are on raw feed. It is a heavy cleaver and cuts really well. I've used Dexter products before and they stay sharp and are great. It arrived in a very timely manner. The knife is so sharp that I have to be EXTREMELY careful so I don't cut myself. Love the knife and Katom and would buy from them again.
