Cleveland KGL60SH Description
The Cleveland KGL-60-SH steam-jacketed kettle operates at 190,000 BTU using LP gas and an automatic hot-surface ignition system. With a full steam jacket design, the unit can be filled completely to the brim and heats evenly without cold or hot spots. Ideal for serving large batches of stew, soup, or chili at institutions, schools, and restaurants, this unit has a 60-gallon capacity. It doesn't tilt, so product must be dispensed using a 2-inch tangent draw-off valve with a strainer that separates liquid and solid contents.
The solid-state control panel on the Cleveland KGL-60-SH steam kettle is splashproof and includes a temperature knob as well as a power switch. LED lights shine to indicate the status of the water level and heat cycle to inform users of the settings. For facilitated access, the spring-assisted cover is hinged and rotatable. This kettle is made of durable stainless steel that withstands years of repeated use without rusting, corroding, warping, or denting.
