CookTek 601101 Description
Using an electromagnetic field, the CookTek MCD1800 drop-in induction cooktop transfers energy to cookware more efficiently than traditional gas and electric equipment. It heats the food in the pan directly, reducing the amount of heat that escapes into the room. This unit can only be used with induction-ready cookware that contains iron, and when a compatible pan is placed on the surface, it is detected by technology that automatically transmits energy to it. Designed for even heat distribution, the glass ceramic cooktop is durable and quick to wipe down.
This CookTek MCD1800 commercial induction cooktop has an LED display that provides user feedback, and operators can set the temperature between 85 and 500 degrees Fahrenheit with 22 temperature settings and 20 additional power settings. Built into the unit, a fan keeps the components cool and protects them from overheating, while a grease filter and air baffle ensure air intake is clean and cool.
