CookTek 601501 Description
The CookTek 601501 MC2502F countertop induction cooktop has a stainless steel exterior and a glass-ceramic top for durability and scratch resistance. This unit is portable, enabling chefs to use it for catering, and has 20 power cook settings with 22 temperature settings. Temperatures on this unit range from 85 to 500 degrees Fahrenheit and are displayed on the LED display. Induction-ready cookware is required to activate the automatic pan detection, where electromagnetic waves start to vibrate and cause friction, quickly heating up the pan. A microprocessor monitors the unit for overheating, power supply issues, and other problems.

Not designed for commercial use
This induction burner works beautifully when it works. Unfortunately, it is not built for full-time commercial use. We are on our 4th unit in under 20 months. Thankfully, the unit is still under warranty and Cooktek has been good about replacing it, but the issue is that it takes 3-4 days to get the replacement unit. So you can't really depend on this induction to be a go-to restaurant range.
