The Turbo Air TGM-50RS two-section glass door merchandiser maintains cold temperatures between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit with R-134A refrigerant. The fan motor is stopped by the fan control when an increase in temperature is sensed, increasing the life of the compressor and saving energy. Treated for corrosion resistance, the hot gas condensate system reduces the risk of leaking refrigerant and prevents overflowing condensate water.

Polyethylene-coated wire shelves hold the stored product while resisting corrosion. These either shelves can be adjusted, accommodating a variety of product heights. The unit accommodates 560 bottles when full, but loading it with only 448 bottles will allow air to flow properly. Thanks to the LED lights, the interior is illuminated to showcase the contents, and an LED advertising panel captures customers' attention. Retaining cold air and minimizing condensation, the two glass doors are Low-E and double paned.
