The heavy duty cast iron plates are available in grooved or smooth for a variety of preparation options. These irons provide long life and superior performance to meet your venue's requirements. The thermostat is rated from 175 F to 450 F and provides accurate sensing of temperature. The reliable hinge system provides effortless operation and is designed to distribute even pressure on both sides of the product for consistent heating and searing. The spacious grilling height accommodates products up to three inches like poultry breasts and sandwiches in addition to thin products like tortillas and quesadillas. Star's Grill Express sandwich grill is designed for restaurants, snack bars, taverns, convenience stores and other commercial operations with limited space.

Prepare burritos, quesadillas, sandwiches, chicken breasts, hamburgers, steaks, vegetables and many other menu items quickly and easily while maximizing space. 10 inch heavy-duty smooth aluminum platens provide long life and superior performance keeping up with your menu requirements. A heavy-duty counter balance hinge system and handle provides safe and effortless operation of the top platen. Spacious grilling height accommodates product up to 3 inches with 3-4 pounds of pressure for proper cooking between platens. The bottom platen has a patented splash guard to help keep products and grease in their place.

Heavy gauge, water resistant flexible plastic conduit protects electrical connections. Thermostat is rated from 175 F (79 C) to 550 F (302 C) and provides accurate sensing of temperature. Ergonomically designed control panel provides easy access to controls and grease drawer. Removable, large capacity grease drawer in the front of unit for easy clean up.

The rugged body is constructed of 18 gauge stainless steel. The counter balance mechanism is constructed from hardened aluminum for strength and durability. The cord is resistant to water and oil with metallic braiding to protect wiring. Furnished with a 6' cord and standard NEMA plug.
