Heavy-duty cast iron or aluminum platens provide long life and superior performance keeping up with your menu requirements. Split top design cooks a variety of products at the same time while allowing maximum control of different temperatures. A counter balance hinge system and handle provides safe and effortless operation of the top platen.  Spacious grilling height accommodates product up to 3". Electronic programmable timer with two controls to set different time and temperatures.  The timer counts down the cooking time and is equipped with an audible alarm to signal when the timer reaches zero. Easy to read digital thermostat is rated from 175 F(79 C) to 550F(302 C). Stainless steel burn guard protects from accidental contact. Front grease trough and drawer for safe and easy cleaning. Construction:
The rugged body is constructed of 18 gauge stainless steel.  The grill is supplied with a grease trough and stainless steel grease drawer.  The counter balance mechanism is constructed from hardened aluminum.  The 6 foot lead-in cord has a special covering that is resistant to water and oil with the wires protected by metallic braiding.  Cord comes complete with plug (see typical specifications).
