Star PST14IT Description
The Star PST14IT Pro-Max 2.0® sandwich grill distributes and retains heat evenly—a feature that's economical for establishments that frequently cook protein, hamburgers, and burritos. Equipped with two cast iron plates, the press operates in a 175- to 550-degree-Fahrenheit temperature range, and the plates' high conductivity maintains heat for back-to-back orders. The top plate presses down on food with its heavy-duty, spring-hinge system attachment for a full-contact cooking method. Between the top and bottom plate, a 3-inch flat landing opening caters to different food widths. Plus, the opening helps prevent sandwiches' contents from spilling out when pressed. For best cooking results, an electronic timer is built into the press to let the operator know when food is cooked properly.
This long-lasting Star PST14IT Pro-Max 2.0 sandwich grill is designed to resist corrosion over time in commercial kitchens. Also, with frequent reseasoning, the cast iron plates offer a smooth, nonstick surface, so lingering food residue can be cleaned quickly. The press's conduit resists oil and water to protect electrical connections for kitchen safety.
