Star PST7 Description
Equipped with smooth aluminum top and bottom plates, the Star PST7 Pro-Max 2.0® sandwich grill is designed to toast thick sandwiches, hamburgers, and french toast because it doesn't leave grill marks. Its aluminum plates heat up faster than other common plate materials, such as cast iron, and it can be reheated frequently. The plates' smooth surface acts as a griddle to toast foods thoroughly and evenly. Its top plate is attached to a hinged spring that clamps down on top of foods as thick as 3 inches for even cooking, reducing the risk of undercooking or burning. An ergonomic handle on the top plate helps the operator open and close the grill as needed.
The Star PST7 Pro-Max 2.0 sandwich grill provides an analog temperature thermostat that ranges from 175 to 550 degrees Fahrenheit for proper toasting. Its stainless steel construction protects against corrosion for an extended lifespan in the kitchen. Also, a heavy-gauge conduit resists water and oil to prevent damage to the electrical connection.
